When you arrive at the surgery please check-in at the reception desk where you will be directed to either the outer or inner waiting room. When the doctor or nurse is ready to see you, your name and the room number/letter you should go to will be displayed on the dot matrix screens in the waiting rooms accompanied by an audible beep. Proceed directly to the room number/letter displayed. If you require assistance, please make your needs known to the receptionist.
If you are not sure whether to call the out of hours doctor service you should call NHS Direct, a 24 hour nurse-led telephone helpline on: NHS Direct: 0845 46 47 The service is manned by specially trained nurses who are happy to advise you on what action you take next.
The surgery provides access, a car parking space and toilet facilities for the disabled.
