Our nurses carry out a wide variety of procedures such as cervical smear tests, blood tests, ear syringing, dressing of wounds and hearing tests. They are also able to provide you with specialist advice on travel vaccinations, health screening, asthma and diabetes. The treatment room is open from 8.30am - 6.00pm by appointment each weekday.
One of the district nurses will visit you at home if you are too ill to attend the surgery. A practice administrator can arrange for a nurse to call.
Health Visitors

Our health visitor can provide information, advice and support to keep you healthy and prevent illness, especially to families with young children.
They hold clinics by appointment, for advice on anything to do with childcare including having your baby weighed. They work in a team with the health visitors from Bugbrooke Surgery.
Midwife
Maria Clewitt & Tina Till
The midwifes work closely with the doctors in caring for mothers before and after the birth of your baby. They can also give you advice when you are planning a pregnancy, about what to avoid and what you can do to give your baby the best start in life.
Macmillan Nurses
The practice is able to call upon a team of Macmillan nurses based at Danetre Hospital, Daventry. These nurses provide extra support for the terminally ill and their families. Dr Jonathan Hill and Dr Richard Gardner have received specialist training in terminal care.
Counsellor
Elizabeth Friedman
The counsellor can help with problems of stress, anxiety or depression. Referral can be made by any of the doctors or nursing team members.
Foot Care
The foot care assistant is available at the surgery once a month. Please contact reception for details of how to make an appointment.
Physiotherapy

The physiotherapist is available at the surgery every Thursday by appointment only following referral by a doctor.
Podiatry

The podiatrist is available at the surgery on Thursday afternoons. Please contact reception for details on how to make an appointment.
