ORDER YOUR REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS AND BOOK YOUR
NON-URGENT APPOINTMENTS ONLINE
This new service known as emisaccess, will be available from 1st June 2007.
This is an additional service. You will still be able to order repeat prescriptions by telephone, fax, letter or in person. You will still be able to make appointments by
telephone or in person.
You will need to register at reception for this service. You have to register in person and not for anyone else. You will be given a PIN number to access the service. You then create your own password to make access to the service secure and confidential.
The PIN number and your password gives you access to the appointment system and your repeat prescriptions but no other part of your medical record.
You have to be over 16 years of age to use and register for this service. Parents cannot register for their children.
To register you will need to confirm your identity by showing us an identity document. This needs to be an original not a photocopy. The document must be in your current name and show your current address. Acceptable identity documents would be a valid passport, driving licence, NHS card or a recent utility bill.
The appointments you can book are for Doctors only.
The appointments you can book are for non urgent appointments.
You will be able to book appointments from 2 days ahead to 2 months ahead.
Urgent appointments, appointments within 2 working days and appointments with Nurses must still be made by telephone or in person.
Repeat Prescription requests will still require 48 hours notice.
