You may have read in the media recently about the proposed changes to the rules governing the dispensing of medicines from GP surgeries. At the present time if you live more than 1 mile away from a pharmacy we are allowed to dispense medicines to you. The planned changes will mean that if your GP Surgery is located within 1 mile of a pharmacy your GP Surgery will be unable to dispense your medication to you. In other words as there is a pharmacy in Weedon within 1 mile of the surgery our dispensary may have to close!
If you feel strongly about this you should write with your comments before 20th November 2008 to Gillian Farnfield, Area 453D, Skipton House, 80 London Road, LONDON , SE1 6LH and copy to Tim Boswell your Member of Parliament, Tim Boswell, House of Commons, London SW1A 0AA e-mail address: boswellt@parliament.uk
